Chicken in Pepper Masala


1.Boneless Chicken
2.Black pepper corns
4.Minced garlic
5.Fresh grated coconut
6.Tamarind pulp
8.Red chilli powder
9.Turmeric powder


1.Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan,add pepper corns,garlic and saute till light pink colour.Switch off the flame and blend along with coconut,tamarind and some water as required.Prepare a smooth paste.
2.Heat remaining ghee in a pan,add garlic,onions and saute for 2 minutes.
3.Add chicken and saute on high heat for few minutes.Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and mix well.
4.Add some water as required and cook well by covering with a lid for 5-7 minutes.
5.Add the ground paste and mix well.Cook for another 2-3 minutes.Serve hot.
