Beer Battered Prawns


3.Crushed black pepper corns
5.Green chilli sauce
6.Chopped garlic
8.Soya sauce
9.Onion greens
10.Red Bird Eye chillies


1.Slit the prawns lengthwise without cutting through and open the flaps to make a butterfly.
2.Place the prawns in a bowl,add crushed pepper corns,green chilli sauce,garlic,vinegar,soya sauce and mix well.
3.Marinate aside for 10-15 minutes.
4.To make sauce, take 3 tbsp soya sauce in a bowl,finely chop spring onion,green chillies,crushed pepper corns and mix well.
5.Heat sufficient oil in kadai.
6.Combine maida,salt and remaining crushed pepper corns in another bowl and mix well.
7.Add beer slowly and whisk well into a smooth batter.
8.Dip marinated prawns in batter and drop them in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour and crisp.Serve hot with prepared sauce.
