Kerala Style Mutton Chilli Fry


2.Green chillies
3.Chopped Garlic
4.Turmeric powder
6.Cardamom powder
8.Coconut oil
9.Mustard seeds
10.Curry leaves
11.Ginger juliennes
13.Crushed pepper corns
14.Coriander leaves


1.Heat a pressure cooker add in mutton,chopped garlic,turmeric powder,salt,cardamom,cinnamon,4 cups water and stir well.Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles and cook till 3/4 th done.
2.When pressure is completely done,discard cinnamon,cardamoms and reserve the remaining mixture.
3.Heat some coconut oil,add in mustard seeds and let the seeds start spluttering.
4.Add green chillies,curry leaves,garlic and ginger and saute well.Add onions and saute till nice golden brown colour.
5.Add cooked mutton and toss well,add crushed pepper corns,salt and mix well.
6.Add cooking liquor to mutton mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes,serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
