2.Toor Dal
3.Chana Dal
6.Dried Red Chillies
7.Curry Leaves
9.Cashew nuts


1.Take a bowl combine toor dal,chana dal,rice,curry leaves,red chillies and wash thoroughly,drain the water.
2.After draining water add salt,hing and some water,soak for about 2 hours.
3.Once done blend into a coarse paste,add grated carrot,coriander leaves and mix well.
4.Heat non stick tawa,place the batter and spread it with fingers,flatten into a thick layer.
5.Sprinkle some cashew nuts and press it gently.Sprinkle some oil around adai.Cover and cook till done on medium flame.Serve hot.
