1.Toor dal
2.Coconut powder
3.Re chillies
4.Garlic cloves
5.Cumin seeds
7.Salt to taste
8.Tempering seeds
9.Curry leaves


1.Dry roast toor dal in a pan for few minutes and keep aside.
2.In the same pan add some oil,fry red chillies,cumin seeds, and saute for few minutes,transfer into a bowl.
3.Blend fried toor dal along with fried red chillies mixture into a fine paste by adding some water little by little.
4.Add tamarind juice,salt,garlic,coconut grated and blend well into a fine paste.
5.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,curry leaves,red chillies and saute for a minute,transfer toor dal chutney to the pan and mix well.
