Dill Pulao


1.Dill leaves
2.Basmati rice
4.Cumin seeds
6.Bay leaves
7.Cinnamon stick
8.Green and Black Cardamom
10.Garlic chopped
11.Ginger chopped
12.Green chillies
13.Salt to taste


1.Heat some ghee in a pan,add cumin seeds,bay leaves,cardamom,cloves,cinnamon and saute for 30 seconds.
2.Add finely chopped onions,garlic,ginger,green chillies finely chopped and mix well till onions turn into nice golden colour.
3.Add soaked and drained basmati rice, finely chopped dill leaves and mix well,saute for 2 minutes till most of the moisture evaporates.
4.Add salt to taste,2 cups of water and mix well.Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
5.Once done fluff the rice with wooden spoon or spatula gently,cover and cook for another 5 minutes till done.Serve hot.
