1.Chennangi Aaku
2.Dried red chillies
4.Urad dal
5.Garlic cloves
7.Turmeric powder
8.Coriander seeds
9.Sesame seeds


1.Dry roast tamarind,chana dal,urad dal,coriander seeds for few minutes till nice aroma.
2.Once roasted add sesame seeds and dry roast till they start spluttering and transfer into a bowl.
3.In the same pan add chenangi aaku with curry leaves and saute till crisp.
4.Transfer the leaves into roasted lentils,Heat some oil in the same pan add dry red chillies and fry till raw flavor goes off.
5.Add garlic,turmeric powder,salt,sugar and to the roasted ingredients and blend well into a fine powder.Serve with idli or dosa.
