Rai Wali Bhindi-Mustard Okra


1.Lady fingers
3.Mustard oil
4.Kalonji (Onion seeds)
6.Green chillies
7.Turmeric powder
9.Coriander powder
10.Cumin powder
11.Mustard paste
12.Red chilli powder


1.Heat sufficient oil in a pan,add lady finger pieces and deep fry till nice golden colour.
2.Meanwhile heat some mustard oil in a pan,add kalonji,onions and saute till nice brown colour.
3.Add green chillies,turmeric powder,sugar and saute for few seconds,now add mustard paste (dissolve coriander powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder,mustard paste in water) and mix well,cook for few minutes.
4.Add fried lady fingers and saute,coat well the masalas.Cook on slow flame by covering a lid,cook till done.Serve hot.
