Dahi Masala Aloo


1.Curd 1/2 cup
2.Potatoes 4
3.Ghee 2 tbsp
4.Cumin seeds 11/4 tbsp
5.Ginger paste 1 tbsp
6.Garlic paste 1 tbsp
7.Coriander powder 4 tbsp
8.Cumin powder 2 1/2 tbsp
9.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
10.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
11.Salt to taste
12.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
13.Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
14.Ginger juliennes for garnishing


1.Heat a non stick pan pour some ghee and add cumin seeds and saute for a while.
2.Combine ginger,garlic paste with some water and add to the pan,saute for 2-3 minutes.
3.Add coriander powder,cumin powder,red chilli powder and turmeric powder.Mix well and cook for a while.
4.Add potatoes,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add 1 cup water and salt.Stir to mix and bring it to boil.
and cook till potatoes are soft.Add curd,garam masala powder and
coriander leaves,mix well and bring it to boil.Garnish with ginger
juliennes and serve hot.
