1.Lady finger
2.Dried red chillies
3.Mustard seeds
4.Fenugreek seeds
5.Green chillies
6.Curry leaves
7.Turmeric powder
8.Onions cut into dices
9.Salt to taste
11.Red chilli powder
12.Coriander powder
13.Cumin powder
14.Tamarind juice
16.Coriander leaves chopped finely


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add dried red chillies,mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,green chillies,garlic cloves roughly crushed,turmeric powder,curry leaves,onions and saute.
2.Add lady finger cut into 1 inch size and saute for few minutes,add salt,red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder,tamarind juice,some water as required,cover and cook for 10 minutes till tender.
3.Add jaggery,cook for another 2-3 minutes till gravy thickens.Add chopped coriander leaves,cover and cook for few minutes.Switch of the flame and transfer into a bowl and serve hot with rice.
