Idli Batter Pakoda


1.Idli batter 2 cups
2.Oil for deep frying
3.Onion 1 chopped
4.Green chilli 1 finely chopped
5.Coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped
6.Curry leaves
7.Asafoetida 1/4 tbsp
8.Salt to taste


1.Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
2.In a bowl combine onions,green chillies,coriander leaves,curry leaves and mix well.
3.Add idli batter,salt,asafoetida and mix it well.
4.Slowly drop the portion of idli batter in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour and crisp.Drain onto a absorbent paper and remove excess oil.Serve hot.
