Vada Masala Curry


1.Chana dal soaked and grinded with salt,green chillies
2.Ginger garlic paste
3.Garam masala powder
4.Coriander powder
6.Green chillies
7.Coconut grated
9.Salt to taste
10.Turmeric powder
11.Red chilli powder


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add ground chana dal paste to this add ginger garlic paste,garam masala powder,onions,green chillies and mix well.
3.Now prepare small patties with the ground mixture and drop them in hot oil and deep fry.
4.Keep turning the patties in between and deep fry till golden brown colour.Transfer into a bowl and keep aside.
5.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onions,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and saute for couple of minutes.
6.Add onion,coconut paste to the frying pan and mix it well.Now add garam masala powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,red chilli powder and fry for another few minutes.
7.After frying add some water as required and bring it to boil,add curd and give it a good mix.Finally add fried vadas to the pan,mix well and cook for another 2 minutes till done.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves,curry leaves.Serve hot.
