Chicken Katsu Curry


1.Chicken (Breast piece)
3.Pepper powder
4.Salt to taste
5.Egg mixture
6.Garlic chopped
7.Curry powder
8.Oil for deep frying
9.Bread powder
11.Onion paste
12.Soya sauce
13.Honey (Optional)
14.Chicken stock


1.Soak chicken piece in buttermilk and some salt,refrigerate for 1 hour till it become tender.
2.Take some flour,season it with some pepper powder,salt and coat well the chicken piece.
3.Spread egg mixture in a plate,now coat the chicken piece with egg mixture and bread powder.
4.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying,gently add coated chicken piece in oil and deep fry till nice golden brown colour and crisp.
5.Take another pan add garlic,butter,onion paste,salt a pinch and saute till raw smell goes off.
6.Add maida and saute for another few minutes till golden colour,add curry powder,soya sauce,honey,chicken stock and cook well
7.Cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes till sauce thickens,cut the fried chicken piece into slices and pour the sauce on top of chicken.Serve hot with rice.
