3.Coconut grated
4.Sesame seeds
6.Salt to taste
7.Mustard seeds
8.Cumin seeds
9.Ginger garlic paste
10.Curry leaves
11.Turmeric powder
12.Red chilli powder
13.Coriander powder
14.Cumin powder
15.Tamarind juice


1.Take a pan dry roast peanuts till they change light colour,add sesame seeds and saute for few minutes and fry.
2.Add dessicated coconut and saute for another few minutes,add onions and give it a mix.Cook on medium flame and blend into a smooth paste.
3.Meanwhile take another pan pour some oil and heat it,add onions,salt and saute for few minutes till they are soft and transfer into a plate.
4.In the same pan add cumin,mustard seeds,ginger garlic paste,curry leaves,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and mix well.
5.Add ground paste to the frying pan and mix well,add some water as required and bring it to boil for 15 minutes by covering a lid.
6.Add tamarind juice,jaggery,salt and give it a mix,cook for another few minutes.Finally add fried onions to the pan and give it a nice stir.Serve hot with biryani.
