Oats Idli


1.Oats 1 cup
2.Idli ravva 3 cups
3.Cashew nut
5.Green peas
6.Chana dal
7.Mustard seeds
8.Coriander leaves
9.Curry leaves
10.Green chillies
11.Salt to taste


1.Firstly roast 1 cup oats and 3 cups of bombay ravva,then grind them into a smooth idli batter.
2.Add some green peas,grated carrot,green chillies,cashew nuts,curry leaves,coriander leaves,salt to the batter and mix well.Rest aside the batter for 30 minutes.
3.After done,add tempering mixture to the batter and mix it well.
4.Grease the idli molds with some oil,And also place a bowl of water in pressure pan.
5.Pour the batter in idli molds and place them in cooker.Cook for 15 minutes till done
6.Remove the idlis in serving plates and serve hot with chutney.
