Prawn Malai Curry


1.Prawns big size
2.Turmeric powder
4.Salt to taste
5.Cumin seeds
6.Onion paste
7.Ginger garlic paste
8.Red chilli flakes
9.Tomato puree
10.Mustard paste
11.Green chillies
12.Sugar a pinch
13.Coconut milk
14.Garam masala powder


1.Take a pan add some butter and melt it,add in marinated prawns (marinated with some turmeric powder,salt) and saute for few minutes till prawns are 75% cooked and transfer into a plate.
2.In the same pan add cumin seeds,onion paste 2 tbsp,ginger garlic paste and saute till raw flavor is all gone.
3.Sprinkle some red chilli flakes,tomato puree 2 tbsp and cook for a minute,add in mustard paste 1 tbsp and mix well.
4.Add salt to taste,green chillies cut and slitted,pinch of sugar and give it a good stir.
5.Add 1 cup coconut milk and bring it to boil till gravy turns into a nice texture.Finally add fried prawns,cook for another 2 minutes.Sprinkle some garam masala powder and give it a stir,switch off flame and let it stay for a minute.Serve hot.
