Shikampuri Kabab


1.Mutton 500 gms
2.Chana dal 1/2 cup
3.Black cloves
4.Pepper corns
5.Dried red chillies
6.Hung curd
7.Onion chopped finely 2 tbp
8.Green chillies chopped finely
9.Cumin seeds powder 1 tbsp
10.Coriander leaves
11.Fried brown onions 1/2 cup
12.Pudina leaves finely chopped 1 bunch
13.Cumin powder
14.Garam masala powder
15.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
16.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
17.Butter 2 tbsp
18.Cinnamon stick


1.Boil chicken with chana dal,red chillies,whole garam masala with some amount of water and blend into a smooth paste.
2.Take a bowl add hung curd add salt,coriander leaves,chopped green chillies,mix well and keep aside.
3.Take another bowl add fried onions roughly mashed,onion chopped,coriander leaves,pudina leaves,chopped green chillies,cumin powder,garam masala powder,red chilli powder,minced meat and lemon juice.Mix well.
4.Divide the dough into small equal portions and stuff with hung curd mixture and flatten the dough gently.Prepare round kababs.
5.Heat some butter in a pan,place the kababs and shallow fry on both sides till brown color.Serve hot.
