Chicken and Pepper Soup


1.Green Capsicum 1/4 cup
2.Red Capsicum 1/4 cup
3.Yellow Capsicum 1/4 cup
4.Boiled chicken cubes 1/2 cup
5.Butter 2 1/2 tbsp
6.Garlic crushed 2 1/2 tbsp
7.Maida 4 tbsp
8.Chicken stock 3-4 cups
9.Salt to taste
10.Crushed pepper corns to taste
11.Mushrooms chopped 1/4 cup
12.Cream 2tbsp
13.Basil leaves for garnishing


1.Take a pan heat 1 1/2 tbsp butter,add garlic and saute for 1/2 minute.
2.Add refined flour,mix well and saute for a minute.Add chicken stock and cook till it attains thickness.
3.Heat remaining butter in another non stick pan and add sliced capsicum,crushed pepper corns,mushrooms and saute well.
4.Transfer the soup into the veggies pan and adjust the stock if need.Switch off the heat and add 2 tbsp cream,mix well.
5.Transfer soup into serving bowl add chicken cubes,basil leaves.Serve hot.
