Matar Paneer Samosa


1.Green peas 1/2 cup
2.Paneer 1/2 cup grated
3.Green chillies 2 chopped
4.Ginger 1/2 inch roughly chopped
5.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
6.Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp
9.Chaat masala powder 1/2 tbsp
10.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
11.Oil for deep frying
12.Samosa patties


1.Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
2.Take a blender add in green peas,green chillies,ginger,cumin seeds,chopped coriander,salt and grind coarsely.
3.Add this mixture to paneer,add in red chilli powder,garam masala powder and mix well.
4.Add 4 tbsp water to the maida and mix well to make a thick paste.
5.Place a samosa patti on the table top,grease lightly with flour paste.
6.Place small portion of the paneer mixture at one end and fold into a triangular samosa.
7.Seal the edges well by applying flour paste and press them gently.Slowly drop them in hot oil and deep fry till golden and crisp.Drain on absorbent napkin and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
