Soya Pepper Prawns

Soya Pepper Prawns


1.Tiger Prawns 8-10
2.Soya sauce 3 tbsp
3.Pepper powder 1 tbsp
4.Pepper corns roughly crushed 1 1/2 tbsp
5.Corn flour 2 tbsp
6.Salt to taste
7.Oil for deep frying + 1 tbsp
8.Ginger chopped/Garlic both 1 tbsp
9.Green chillies 2 finely chopped
10.Green capsicum cut into cubes
11.Vinegar 1 tbsp
12.Spring onions with greens


1.Marinate the prawns with soya sauce,corn flour,pepper powder,pepper corns roughly crushed and salt.Mix well and set aside for 20 minutes.
2.Meanwhile heat sufficient oil for deep frying,add the marinated prawns till golden and crisp.Drain onto a absorbent paper napkin,Remove excess oil.
3.Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non stick pan, add in ginger,garlic chopped and green chillies till fragrant.
4.Add green capsicum and saute on high heat.
5.Simmer the flame and add remaining soya sauce,pepper powder,pepper corns,vinegar and spring onions.Mix well and cook for a minute.
6.Mix well remaining corn flour with 1 tbsp water and give it a good stir.Cook on low flame for a minute.Serve hot with garnished spring onion greens.
