Oats Moong Dal Tikka


1.Moong dal soaked 4 hours 1 cup
2.Besan flour 4 tbsp
3.Oats 1/2 cup
4.Rice flour 2 tbsp
5.Onion chopped
6.Green chillies chopped
7.Ginger chopped
8.Cumin seeds
10.Curry leaves
11.Coriander leaves
12.Salt to taste
13.Oil for deep frying
14.Corn flour 2 tbsp


1.Take a large deep bowl add moong dal,oats,besan flour,rice flour,corn flour,onion chopped 1/2 cup,green chillies,ginger chopped,cumin seeds 1 tbsp,pudina,curry leaves,coriander leaves,salt to taste.
2.Mix well all the ingredients evenly,meanwhile heat sufficient oil in a pan.
3.Take small amount of mixture in your palms and prepare small tikkis,slowly drop them into hot oil and deep fry.
4.Fry till golden brown colour,keep turning in between and fry on both sides.Transfer onto a paper napkin,drain excess oil.Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
