Three Dal Khichdi


2.Moong dal 30 gms
3.Chana dal 30 gms
4.Red toor dal 30 gms
5.Potato 1 medium
6.Carrot chopped 1 medium
7.Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
8.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
9.Pepper powder 1/2 tbsp
20.Green chillies
21.Onion chopped 1 medium
22.Cumin seeds
23.Salt to taste
25.Ghee 3 tbsp

Preparation:(Wash and soak 3 kinds of lentils and rice together for 1 hour)

1.Take a pan add 3 tbsp ghee,oil and melt it.
2.Add cumin seeds,green chillies and saute for few seconds.
3.Add onion chopped 1 cup and saute.
4.Add potatoes,carrot chopped and fry for few minutes.
5.Now add ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp,mix well.Fry the ingredients for few minutes.
6.Add garam masala powder 1 tbsp,pepper powder 1/2 tbsp and give it a stir.
7.Add salt to taste,add soaked lentils and mix well.Fry for few seconds.
8.Add 2 bowls of water to 1 bowl of lentils and mix well.
9.Cover and cook for 10 minutes on high flame till done,remove the lid and give it a good stir.Finally transfer into a bowl,garnish with green chillies,coriander leaves.Serve hot.
