Kali Mirch Chicken Tikka


1.Chicken breast 500 gms
2.Curd 1 cup
3.Pepper corns 10-15 crushed
4.Fresh cream 2 tbsp
5.Ginger garlic green chilli paste 1 tbsp
6.Green cardamom powder 1/2 tbsp
7.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
8.Salt to taste
9.Corn flour 1 tbsp
10.Lemon juice 1 tbsp
11.1 Egg
12.1/2 Red,Yellow,Green capsicum cut into cubes
13.Oil 2 tbsp
14.Butter for greasing


1.Take a bowl add curd (yogurt),cream and mix well.Add ginger garlic green chilli paste,cardamom powder,garam masala powder,salt to taste,corn flour,ground pepper corns and mix well all the ingredients.
2.Add lemon juice to chicken pieces and mix well.
3.Add egg,chicken pieces,capsicum pieces in yogurt mixture and give it a good mix.
4.Add oil and mix once again,cover it with a cling film,refrigerate for 20 minutes.
5.Now pierce chicken and capsicum pieces on skewers alternately.
6.Spread an aluminum foil on baking tray and grease it with some butter.
7.Place the skewers on tray and put in oven for 20 minutes.
8.After 10 minutes again grease some butter on sides of chicken and cook for 10 minutes till brown.Serve hot with green chutney and onion rings.
