Gutti Nethi Beerakaya


1.Nethi beerakaya (cut into 4 quarters)
2.Onion paste
3.Tomato paste
4.Powdered peanuts
5.Sesame powder
6.Dry coconut powder
7.Urad dal
8.Mustard,Dry red chillies
9.Cumin seeds
10.Ginger garlic paste
11.Coriander powder
12.Coriander leaves
13.Turmeric powder
14.Salt to taste
15.Red chilli powder


1.Take a bowl add onion paste 1 cup,tomato paste 1 cup,peanut powder 1/2 cup,sesame powder 1/2 cup,dry coconut powder 1/2 cup,red chilli powder 1 tbsp,salt to taste,mix well all the ingredients evenly.
2.Take a pressure pan pour 1/2 cup oil and heat it.
3.Stuff the mixture in beerakayalu and keep aside in separate plate.
4.Add urad dal 1 tbsp,mustard seeds,dry red chillies 1 tbsp,cumin seeds 1 tbsp,ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp,saute for a minute.
5.Add 1/2 turmeric powder and give it a mix,now add stuffed beerakaya pieces in pan.
6.Add some water,garam masala powder 1 tbsp in remaining mixture for gravy,slowly add this mixture into pressure pan and close the lid.
7.Cook for 1 whistle,remove the lid and serve into a bowl.Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
