1.Carom seeds (Vaamu) 1 1/2 tbsp
2.Potatoes 2 cut into fingers
3.Capsicum 3 cut into fingers
4.Oil 3 tbsp + deep frying
5.Ginger chopped 1 1/2 inch
6.Garlic clovs chopped 15
7.Tomatoes 2 puree
8.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
9.Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
10.Red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
11.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Lemon juice 1 1/2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour sufficient oil for deep frying,heat it.Add potato fingers to hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.Keep aside on paper napkin.
2.On another pan add carom seeds,ginger and garlic saute for 1 minute.
3.Add tomato puree and stir until the moisture evaporates.
4.Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and garam masala powder and saute till oil separates.
5.Add capsicum and saute for 2-3 minutes.
6.Add fried potatoes,salt and mix well.
7.Finally add lemon juice and cook for a minute.Serve [email protected]@
