Sonti Podi Chakkalu


1.Rice flour 1 cup
2.Moong dal 1/4 cup soaked
3.Ginger powder 1 tbsp
4.Salt to taste
5.Red chilli powder as we needed
6.Coriander leaves 1 bunch
7.Oil for deep frying
8.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add 1/2 glass water heat it,on other stove heat oil for deep frying.
2.In a bowl add rice flour,moong dal,cumin seeds,ginger powder,coriander leaves,red chilli powder,salt.Mix well by adding hot water.
3.Prepare a stiff dough.
4.Take a plastic cover,grease some oil.Take small portion of dough in your palms and prepare round balls.
5.Now press the dough into a small chapathi,into a thin layer.
6.Gently drop them into hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
