Phool Makhani Capsicum Curry


1.Phool Makhani 1 cup
2.Capsicum chopped 1
3.Roasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp
4.Roasted peanuts 2 tbsp
5.Dry coconut powder 1/4 cup roasted
6.Tomato chopped 1
7.Onion chopped 1
8.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
9.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
10.Salt to taste
11.Red chilly powder
12.Turmeric powder a pinch
13.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
14.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
15.Coriander leaves
16.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Heat 2 tbsp oil in pan for shallow frying phool makhani,fry for 2 minutes till it turns light brown colour.
2.In the same pan add 2 tbsp oil,cumin seeds,onions chopped,ginger garlic paste and capsicum.Saute the mixture for few minutes till its done.
3.Add salt,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,tomatoes and saute for few minutes till its nice and pulpy.
4.Add dry coconut paste(peanuts,sesame seeds,dry coconut powder) coriander powder,water as we needed for gravy consistency.Give it a mix.
5.Add fried phool makhani,garam masala powder and water(optional) as we needed for gravy.
6.Give it a final mix...serve hot with chapathis or [email protected]@@
