Sorakaya Kobbari Payasam


1.Sorakaya (Bottle gourd) grated 1 cup
2.Jaggery 1/2 cup
3.Cashew nut paste 1/4 cup
4.Dry fruits 20gms
5.Coconut Milk 2 cup
6.Ghee 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour 1 tbsp ghee,melt it.
2.Add dry fruits and fry them till light golden brown.Remove it and keep aside.
3.In the same pan pour 1 tbsp ghee,add sorakaya grated(water should be squeezed out of it).Fry till it changes its color lightly.
4.Saute the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add 1 cup cashew nut paste,grated jaggeery and mix well till the jaggery melts.Stir continuously.
6.Add coconut milk to this mixture and bring it boil until it attains thick consistency.
7.Cook on medium flame and serve in a bowl and garnish with dry fruits...Serve hot or [email protected]@@
