Bhindi Pakodi Curry


1.Lady finger 1cup sliced
2.Besan flour 1/2 cup
3.Rice flour 1tbsp
4.Ajwain 1/2 tbsp
5.Red chilly powder
6.Salt to taste
7.Onion 1 finely chopped
8.Green chillies 2no.
9.Tomato puree 1 cup
10.Coriander powder 1 cup
11.Cumin powder 1 tbsp
12.Coriander leaves finely chopped
13.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a pan,pour oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl add chopped lady finger,besan flour,rice flour,ajwain,salt and red chilly powder.Mix well
3.Add some water to this mixture and prepare a thick batter like pakodi batter.
4.Now make small dumplings,fry them in the oil.Till light golden brown.
5.Take a pan,pour some oil.
6.Add chopped onions,finely chopped green chillies,tomato puree,salt,red chilly powder and coriander powder.Give a nice stir.Cook for few minutes.
7.Finally add the fried lady finger pakodas into the mixture which we have prepared.Mix well.Add some water for gravy.
8.Add cumin powder to the mixture,give a stir.
9.Garnish with coriander leaves finally.Serve with rice or chapathis.
