Vegetable Sogi


1.Carrot chopped 1 cup
2.Cabbage finely chopped
3.Beans finely chopped
4.Cauliflower chopped 1 cup
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilly powder
8.Garlic cloves
9.Mustard powder
10.Cumin powder
11.Ginger-garlic paste
12.Lemon 2 no.
13.Tempering seeds(mustard/cumin seeds,dry red chillies,garlic cloves)
15.Turmeric powder
16.Curry leaves


1.Take a pan,add carrot,cauliflower,beans,cabbage,2 tbsp salt,2 tbsp red chilly powder,hing,garlic cloves,1 tbsp mustard powder,1 tbsp cumin powder.Mix all the ingredients evenly.
2.Add ginger-garlic paste,1/2 cup lemon juice.Give it a stir.
3.Take a pan,pour 1 cup oil ,heat it.
4.Add tempering seeds,ginger-garlic paste,cashewnuts,1/2 tbsp turmeric powder,curry leaves,hing.Saute this mixture.
5.Add this whole mixture in carrot mixture.Serve hot with rice.
