1.Curry leaves
2.Garlic cloves
3.Dry red chillies
4.Salt to taste
5.Turmeric powder
6.Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
7.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
8.Coriander seeds 1 cup
9.Tamarind pulp
10.Chana dal 1 cup
12.Urad dal 1 cup
13.Pepper corns 1 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour 2 tbsp oil.Heat it.
2.Add chana dal,urad dal fry evenly on medium flame.
3.Nextly add coriander seeds to the fried mixture.Fry them on medium flame.
4.Add garlic cloves and fry them evenly with other ingredients.
5.Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds and pepper corns fry them.
6.Add dry red chillies to the fried mixture depending upon our spicyness we can add more.
7.Add pinch of turmeric powder and mix well continuously.
8.Add curry leaves to the fried mixture and mix well. Remove onto a plate to cool.
9.Once cool, transfer everything into a grinder,add tamarind,salt to taste.
10.Grind until desired texture is achieved.Serve hot in rice or idly with ghee.
