Palak Chole


1.Chick peas soaked overnight and boiled
2.Spinach chopped and boiled 2 bunches
3.Green chillies 3-4
4.Garlic 4-5
5.Ghee 2 tbsp
6.Ginger 1 unch
7.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
8.Tomato puree 1 cup
9.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
10.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
11.Salt to taste


1.Take a pressure pan add chick peas soaked,add 3 cups of water and pressure cook till done.
2.Wash spinach and remove the stalks,chop them finely,boil in hot water for 2 minutes.Prepare spinach puree.
3.Take green chillies,ginger washed and peeled and make coarse paste by adding little water.
4.Take a pan pour ghee,heat it.Add cumin seeds,green chilli paste and saute for few minutes.
5.Add 1 cup tomato puree,red chilly powder,garam masala powder and fry for few minutes.
6.Add spinach puree and chick peas stir gently and cook for few 2 minutes and serve hot..!!
