Simla Mirch Besan ke Saath


1.Green capsicum 4 medium cut into cubes
2.Besan flour 1/4 cup
3.Oil 2 tbsp
4.Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
5.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
6.Asofetida a pinch
7.Turmeric powder 1/4 tbsp
8.Salt to taste
9.Red chilli powder 2 tbsp
10.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
11.Tamarind pulp 1 1/2 tbsp
12.Sugar 1/2 tbsp
13.Peanuts roasted and crushed 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour some oil,heat it.
2.Add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,gram flour and asofetida.Stir well.
3.Add garam masala powder,turmeric powder, red chilli powder and stir in 1 cup of water to amke a thick gravy.
4.Add tamarind pulp,sugar.Mix well.
5.Add capsicum and cook on medium flame till the capsicum is tender.
6.Stir in between to prevent the masala from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
7.Sprinkle some roasted peanuts on top and serve hot with parathas or chapathis....!!!!
