Chicken Saag Kofta


1.Chicken 250 gms minced
2.Spinach chopped and pureed 1 cup
3.Tomato puree 1/2 cup
4.Oil 2 tbsp
5.Fresh cream 4-5 tbsp
6.Onions chopped 2
7.Turmeric powder a pinch
8.Garlic cloves 10 finely chopped
9.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
10.Red chilly powder 1/2 tbsp
11.Garam masala powder 1/2 tbsp
12.Green chillies finley chopped
13.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
14.Salt to taste


1.Take a bowl add chicken mince,ginger garlic paste,green chillies,onion chopped,red chilli powder,garam masala powder and mix well all the ingredients.
2.Grease your palms,take small portion of chicken mince and make round balls like koftas.
3.Take a pan pour some oil,heat it.Add round minced chicken balls to the frying pan,cook them till golden brown.
4.Take another pan add 2 tbsp oil,heat it.Add cumin seeds,green chillies,garlic cloves finely chopped.Saute for 1 minute.
5.Add chopped onion,tomato puree cook till the oil separates.
6.Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder and salt.Mix well.
7.Add water and bring it to boil,add spinach puree and chopped spinach to this mixture.Adjust the consistency.
8.Add fresh cream to the pan and mix.Add the koftas to the gravy and mix gently.Cook till it comes to boil.Serve [email protected]@@
