Khasta Roti


1.Refined flour 1 cup
2.Bombay ravva 2 tbsp
3.Butter 4 tbsp
4.Sugar 1 tbsp
5.Carom seeds (Vaamu) 1/2 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add refined flour,semolina(bombay ravva), sugar,salt,carom seeds,butter and knead it into a stiff dough by adding water.
2.Cover it with a clotha nd set aside for 15 minutes.
3.Divide the dough into equal portions and prepare round balls.Flatten the ball into smooth chapathi.
4.Place a non stick pan on medium heat.Let it heat for 2 minutes.
5.Place a roti and cook,turning sides till both the sides are cooked and crisp.Serve [email protected]@
