Aakukoora Perugu Vada


1.Spinach chopped 1 cup
2.Chukkakoora chopped 1 cup
3.Thotakoora chopped 1 cup
4.Curd 2 cups
5.Urad dal soaked 1 cup
6.Carrot grated 1/4 cup
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
9.Coriander leaves
10.Salt to taste
11.Dry red chillies 2
12.Green chillies 5
13.Curry leaves 2
14.Turmeric powder a pinch
15.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a pan pour sufficient oil for deep frying,on another stove take a pan pour oil for tempering.
2.Add tempering seeds,dry red chillies,chana dal,curry leaves,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste.Saute for few minutes,rest the mixture to cool.
3.Take a bowl add urad dal batter which is soaked for about 4 hours and grinded.
4.Add the above leafy vegetables in the batter,salt and mix well.
5.Now prepare vadas and gently drop them in hot oil and deep fry till golden brown,add the tempering seeds and vadas into curd mixture and mix well.
6.Finally add green chillies,garnish with coriander leaves,carrot grated...seve cool.
