Aratikaya Palakura Vada


1.Aratikaya 2 boiled,peeled and mashed
2.Chana dal soaked 1 cup
3.Corn flour 4 tbsp
4.Spinach chopped 1 cup
5.Grated carrot 1
6.Onions chopped 1 cup
7.Green chillies 3
8.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
9.Red chilli powder
10.Chat masala powder 1 tbsp
11.Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
12.Coriander leaves
13.Salt to taste
14.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a bowl add aratikaya boiled,spinach chopped and mix well.
2.Take a pan pour oil for deep frying heat it.
3.Add onions chopped,carrot grated,green chillies chopped,salt,red chilli powder,chat masala powder,ginger garlic paste,cumin seeds and mix well.
4.Add corn flour for binding and mix t well.
5.Finally add soaked chana dal to the mixture and mix well.
6.Take small portion of dough in your palms and prepare small size vadas.
7.Gently drop the vadas in hot oil and deep fry till golden by turning on both the sides.Serve hot..!!
