Vankaya Batani Curry


1.Brinjal 1/4 cup cut into pieces and soaked in salt water
2.Peas boiled 1/2 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
5.Green chillies 3
6.Curry leaves
7.Salt to taste
8.Red chilli powder
9.Turmeric powder a pinch
10.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
11.Rice flour 1 tbsp
12.Corinader leaves
13.Oil 2 tbsp


1.Take a pan pour 2 tbsp oil,heat it.
2.Add chopped onions,ginger garlic paste,green chillies cut and slitted and saute.
3Add brinjal and mix well,cover and cook until its done.
4.Add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,peas boiled,curry leaves and water as we needed for gravy consistency.
5.Bring it to boil,take a small bowl add rice flour,water.Prepare a thick paste without forming any lumps.
6.Add the mixture by stirring continuously without forming any lumps.Add coriander powder give it a mix.
7.Transfer the mixture into a boil and garnish with coriander leaves.
