Pesarapappu Kichidi


1.Moong dal 1/2 cup
2.Rice 1 cup
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Green chillies 3
5.Tomatoes chopped 3
6.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
7.Ghee 2 tbsp
8.Fried dry fruits
9.Coriander leaves
10.Salt to taste
11.Oil 4 tbsp


1.Take a pan dry roast moong dal till brownish colour,transfer the mixture into a bowl.
2.In the same pan add ghee 2 tbsp,oil,green chillies,chopped onions saute till its cooked.
3.Add tomatoes chopped,ginger garlic paste,salt,soaked rice,moong dal and mix well all ingredients evenly.
4.Take a pressure pan add 3 cups water,bring it boil.
5.Transfer the fried mixture into pressure pan and cook for 2 whistles till its done,garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot..!!
