Perugu Chegodeelu


1.Curd 1 cup
2.Rice flour 1 cup
3.Coconut grated
4.Onion chopped 1
5.Green chillies
6.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
7.Salt to taste
8.Coriander leaves
9.Oil for deep frying


1.Take a pan pour curd,water in equal quantities.
2.Add green chillies,salt,cumin seeds,coconut powder,onion chopped,coriander leaves.
3.Cover and bring it to boil.
4.Add rice flour and cover it and cook for 2 minutes till its done.
5.Transfer into a bowl,rest the mixture to cool.
6.Take a pan pour oil for deep frying.
7.Knead the mixture into a smooth dough without forming any lumps.
8.Take a small ball of dough and roll between your palms into thin rope.Bring the two edges together to form a ring.In the same manner prepare the remaining chegodis.
9.Gently drop them in hot oil till light golden brown.Transfer into a bowl and serve...!!
