Alasandala Vada Masala Curry


1.Alasandalu soaked and grinded with green chillies,salt 1 cup
2.Tomatoes chopped
3.Coconut grated
5.Coriander powder
6.Cinnamon stick
8.Onions chopped
9.Salt to taste
10.Red chilli powder
12.Turmeric powder
13.Tempering seeds
14.Dry red chillies
15.Curry leaves
16.Coriander leaves
17.Pudina leaves
18.Ginger garlic paste


1.Take a bowl add alasandala paste,onion chopped,ginger chopped finely,curry leaves,coriander leaves finely chopped,pudina and mix well altogether evenly.
2.Take a pan pour sufficient oil for deep frying,heat it.
3.Take small portion of mixture and prepare vadas,slowly drop them in hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
4.Transfer into a plate.
5.Take a pan pour some oil (1/2 cup) heat it.Add tempering seeds,dry red chillies,onion chopped saute till golden colour.
6.Add curry leaves,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,tomato chopped and cook till soft and pulpy.
7.Add Gasagasala paste(Gasagasalu,coconut grated,cinnamon stick,cloves,red chilli powder,onions,2 garlic cloves) to the mixture and mix well.
8.Cook for about 2-3 minutes.Add 1 cup water,salt and bring it to boil.
9.Finally add fried vadas,cover and cook for 5 minutes till its done.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves
