Gummadikaya Pulusu


1.Gummadikaya (Pumpkin)
2.Coriander leaves
3.Onion chopped\
5.Salt to taste
6.Dry red chillies
7.Red chilli powder
8.Tamarind pulp
9.Curry leaves
10.Turmeric powder
11.Tempering seeds
12.Rice flour


1.Take a pan pour some oil,heat it.
2.Add dry red chillies,tempering seeds,curry leaves,onion chopped,salt,turmeric powder and mix well.
3.Add gummadikaya pieces and give it a mix.
4.Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5.Add red chilli powder,tamarind pulp,jaggery grated and mix well.
6.Take a small bowl add rice flour,water and prepare a thick paste.Add this to the cooking mixture for attaining thick consistency.
7.Cover and cook for few minutes and transfer into a bowl.Garnish with coriander leaves.
