Boondhi Ladoo


1.Rice flour
2.Jowar flour
3.Besan flour
4.Cardamom powder
5.Oil for deep frying
6.Cashew nuts
9.Jaggery grated


1.Take a bowl add rice flour,jowar flour,besan flour in equal quantities.
2.Add 1 cup milk and water,prepare a smooth batter.
3.Take a pan pour sufficient oil for deep frying,heat it.
4.On another stove take a pan pour some water,jaggery till it submerges in water.Prepare jaggery syrup till it attains thick consistency.
5.Once Oil is hot, place a small amount of boondi batter onto a Boondi
Maker or flat ladle with holes and gently tap the sides with a spoon to
allow batter droplets to fall into the oil.
6.Add cardamom powder to the jaggery syrup and mix well.
7.Fry Boondi until light golden, remove them from the oil allowing excess
oil to drain off and place them directly into the sugar syrup.
8.Add 1 tbsp ghee in boondhi mixture.Rest the mixture to cool down.
9.Take the mixture into your palms,cashew nut and press to form a round ball (ladoo). Continue to make remaining ladoos.
