Chinthakaya Kakarakaya Masala


1.Kakarakaya (Bitter gourd)
2.Tamarind juice (Chinthakaya)
3.Cumin garlic paste
4.Turmeric powder
5.Red chilli powder
7.Coriander leaves
8.Curry leaves
9.Coriander powder
10.Salt to taste
11.Dry coconut powder


1.Take a bowl add tamarind juice and bring it to boil.
2.Add bitter gourd pieces and boil it for 2-3 minutes.Drain the pieces into a separate plate.
3.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
4.Add kakarakaya pieces and fry for few minutes.
5.Add cumin garlic paste,salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and give it a mix.
6.Cook on medium flame,add coriander powder,curry leaves and mix finely.
7.Off the stove and add dry coconut powder and give it a good mix.
8.Transfer into a plate and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot..!!
