2.Onion chopped
3.Pappula podi
5.Salt to taste
6.Turmeric powder
8.Coconut grated
9.Garlic cloves
10.Red chilli powder


1.Slit the bitter gourd in 1 inch.
2.Take a bowl add tamarind,salt,turmeric powder,water and bring it to boil.
3.Boil for 10 minutes,drain the water and separate the pieces.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
5.Add onion chopped and pinch of salt to fry the onions quickly.
6.Grind garlic cloves,red chilli powder and salt into smooth powder.Transfer into a bowl.
7.Grind putnalu,garlic cloves,red chilli powder,salt into smooth powder.
8.Add putnala podi to the fried onion mixture,coconut grated,garlic red chilli powder and mix well.
9.On another stove heat 1/2 cup oil for deep frying.
10.Deep fry the kakarakayalu till golden brown colour and transfer into a plate.Rest the pieces to cool.
11.Now stuff the fried mixture in kakarakaya and set aside..Serve as side dish.
