Semiya Vada


1.Semiya 1 cup
2.Besan flour 1 cup
3.Onion chopped as we needed
4.Salt to taste
5.Green chillies 2 tbsp
6.Oil for deep frying
7.Coriander leaves 1 tbsp


1.Take a bowl add sufficient water for boiling vermicelli (semiya).
2.Boil for 4-5 minutes till done,drain the water.
3.Transfer boiled semiya in a bowl,add some water,besan flour,onion chopped,green chillies,coriander leaves and salt.Mix well all the ingredients.
4.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
5.Grease some oil on your palms and prepare small vadas,coat the vada with some semiya.
6.Gently drop them into hot oil and deep fry.Repeat the same process.
7.Deep fry till golden colour and drain them onto a paper napkin.Serve hot..!!!
