Menthi Crispies


1.Besan flour 1 cup
2.Baking soda
3.Vaamu  1 tbsp
4.Oil for deep frying
5.Turmeric powder a pinch
6.Carrot grated
7.Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
8.Green chillies 1 tbsp chopped
9.Fenu greek leaves
10.Sugar 2 tbsp
11.Curd 4 tbsp
12.Salt to taste


1.Take a bowl add besan flour,fenu greek leaves,carrot grated,vaamu,turmeric powder,sugar,green chillies,ginger chopped,baking soda,salt and mix well.
2.Prepare a dough and keep aside.
3.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
4.Grease plastic cover with some oil and press the dough into a thick layered chapathi.
5.Cut the chapathi into desired shapes and deep fry.
6.Fry till golden colour and crisp.Transfer into a paper napkin and serve hot..!!!
