1.Moong dal 1 cup
2.Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
3.Ginger chopped
4.Salt to taste
5.Green chillies
6.Oil 2 tbsp
7.Tempering seeds
8.Garlic cloves
9.Curry leaves
10.Coriander leaves


1.Take a bowl add some water,moong dal and bring it to boil.Cook for about 15 minutes till done.
2.Add green chillies cut and slitted,turmeric powder,salt and mix well.
3.Cook till its done.Take another pan,add some oil and heat it.
4.Add tempering seeds,5-9 garlic cloves,1/2 tbsp ginger chopped,curry leaves and saute till they start spluttering.
5.Transfer the moong dal mixture into a bowl and finally add tempering mixture in it,garnish with coriander leaves.
