1.Toor dal 1 cup
2.Garlic cloves 5-8
3.Dry red chillies
4.Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
5.Curry leaves
6.Coriander leaves
7.Salt to taste


1.Take a bowl add some water,toor dal.Bring it to boil until dal cooks completely.Mix well.
2.Take another kadai/pan pour some oil and heat it.
3.Add garlic cloves,cumin seeds,dry red chillies,curry leaves and saute till it starts spluttering.
4.Add some salt in dal and mix well,transfer the tempering mixture in dal give it a fine mix.Transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.
