Egg Kichidi


1.Eggs 2
2.Moong dal soaked equal quantities
3.Rice soaked equal quantities
4.Coriander leaves
5.Red chilli powder
6.Curry leaves
7.Onion chopped 1 cup
8.Tempering seeds
9.Green chillies 4-5
10.Dry red chillies 4


1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.
2.Add tempering seeds,green chillies,onion chopped,dry red chillies and saute.
3.Add curry leaves,fry till onions turn into golden.
4.Add some water as we needed,salt and give it a mix.
5.Bring it to boil on high flame,take another pan pour some oil and heat it.
6.Break 2 eggs,add salt,red chilli powder and mix well.Prepare egg burji.
7.Add rice and moong dal in boiling water,cover and cook till done.
8.Finally add fried egg burji in khichdi and mix evenly.Cook on medium flame for about 2 minutes.
9.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
